Balancing being a new mom with getting back to work has made my daily and weekly routines look a bit different around here to say the least. But I'm loving every single minute of being a mom. Motherhood is simultaneously WAY HARDER than I expected while also being WAY MORE MAGICAL and enjoyable than I could have ever imagined. I'm so excited to show you guys a few glimpses into a week in my life as a first-time mom in New York City. A few things I'm learning about myself in motherhood: - I never thought that I would love cleaning so much. I love cleaning all of my breast pump parts, all the bottles and tops, the kitchen counters, Milo's baby nursery, the bathrooms, and just about every square inch of our New York City apartment. - I am blown away by how much I can achieve in a day. From taking care of myself to taking care of Milo to also crushing my work goals, I never knew I had this type of stamina and energy in me! - I appreciate New York City and the convenience it provides for my family. - A week in my life in 2022 is very different from a week in my life in 2021...in all the best ways! - Motherhood has many ups and downs, but I'm strapped in and enjoying the ride. - Friday night dinners at home once the baby goes to sleep - they're a wild time for new parents! - New mom friends and mommy & me play-groups have become the highlight of my week!
